American President of Magic to Commence Muggle Burnings!

In accordance with the latest Coven Ruling from Salem, US, last week, the American President of Magic Q. Velvetine Gwarthgydd announced today that he personally would be holding the torch to begin this
years festivities.

"I whole-heartedly endource this latest mad-er, genius, experienced by the Coven Members of late, and can only hope to set a good example to all true American Wizards, by causing the filthy, magicless swine to burn!"

Not only does the new law allow american wizards to burn muggles found tresspassing upon their private lands, as was first proposed by the notable Coven Member Renaldo,but also added by the coven members were the rights to curse their families, whither their crops, blight their cattle, and bring general pestilance to their towns. In addition, any of those exiled for lack of magic, (commonly referred to as "squibs" by the general public) caught tresspassing will be subject to being pressed to death.

In other news however, strange fwooper migrations have been spotted flying near and around Salem. Whether or not this has attributed to recent law-making has yet to be seen or proven.
