Harry Loves Hermione - All the Reasons

Written by - Crazyfan

This article talks about the many reasons and proof that Harry loves Hermione. I don't know how people said that she loves Ron. That isn't true! Although Ron likes Hermione, she doesn't, and thats final!
I can tell you some reasons (5th book):
1. Harry pulled her back when Grawp tried to grab her
2. Harry pulled her down when the centaurs attacked Umbridge
3. Harry pulled her out of the way when the centaurs attacked Grawp
4. Harry felt horrible when he thought she was dead
The list goes on.
Harry and Hermione are best friends. If you thought your best friend was dead, wouldn't you feel horrible too? If a 16-foot-tall Giant with hands the size of trash-can lids was reaching out to grab your best friend, wouldn't you pull her back too? All of this "proof" concedes that Harry does care for Hermione, as he should, but it does not add any weight to the argument behind the possibility of them being anything more than just friends.
That said, here's what we had here before the 5th book:

1. The kiss on the cheek at the end of book 4 - Harry noticed that she had never done that before.
Others argue that the kiss on the cheek was proof that Hermione is not interested in Harry in that way. Hermione is very insecure socially, she is not the type of girl that would make a pass at a boy. Maybe she is so comfortable with their friendship that she knew he would not take the kiss the wrong way. and that isn't all:

1. The hug at the end of 2nd movie
In an interview, JK Rowling said:
"Key things happen in book
2. No one knows how important those things are...yet. There is a lot in [the movie], and I know how difficult it was to get it all in there without drawing too much attention to the clues."- this proofs what I have been saing!Near the end of the second film Hermione runs through the great hall and wraps her arms around Harry in a hug. She then turns to Ron, and they start to move in for a hug but then they step back awkwardly and shake hands.
There are a couple ways we can interpret this:
The hug indicates that she is hinting of of Harry/Hermione romance.

Hermione gives Harry a "friend hug," but Ron and Hermione chicken out because they have a little thing for each other and it was too awkward. (This is the one we feel is the most likely. Afterall, would you feel more comfortable hugging your best friend or your secret crush?) We don't know if this improves the chances at all, but when Hermione was in the hospital wing, Harry spent a good amount of time by her bed stroking her hand affectionately and looking at her.
And if this reasons are not enough, do yourself a favor and read all the books again!

Harry Potter is not owned by me at all. The super queen of Potter is no other than the wicked JK Rowling! So don't sue me, this is just a cool fan site.
