Giant Squid and Hagrid Found Guilty!!

On Tuesday December 10, 2004, 300 pounds of shrimp were found missing from Hogwart's (School of Wichcraft and Wizardry) kitchen. House elves were bustling here and there around the castle to find the shrimp. One of the first locations searched was none other then Fred and George Weasley's dormitory. The twins have been known for pulling quite a few pranks in their days at Hogwarts. "Yeah, the two are some of the funniest jokesters I've ever met." says young Lee Jordan (a personal friend of our two Weasleys.) Alas no evidece of any seafood being in thier dormitory was found. A portrait of a rather plump lady said she saw a dark figure through one of the windows trudging to a hut near the dark forest with a huge bag slung over his shoulder. Professor Dumbledore (Headmaster of Hogwarts) claimed he only knew of one person who lived in a hut by Hogwarts and that person was his own game keeper and professor of Care of Magical Creatures, otherwise known as Rubeus Hagrid. Investigators searched high and low in the hut. Unlike Fred and George, there was a hint of evidence. A huge dark colored bag was found in the corner of his hut being strangly sniffed by his dog by the name of Fang. Detectives found a small shrimp tail in the bag. Finally Hagrid broke down and told the story. "Th' Giant Squid was hungry," he claimed "...I couldn' let him starve! He sai' he ha' eatin' all th' food down there. You can' blame 'im can you? E's a big fella and big fella's gotta eat. No one knows better than me." In the end the house elves ended up making beef instead of shrimp for the Christmas feast and big Hagrid was not punished for the law heard of his affection for beasts.
